Wilma C. Ertel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma C. Ertel of Waterloo, New York, born in Atlanta, New York, who passed away on July 7, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Abeel and Leona Abeel (Snyder); her former husband George Merkle; her husband Albert Ertel; and her sons, Ronald and Daniel Merkle.
She is survived by: her children, George Merkle (Betty), Joan Hamelinck (Ed) and William Ertel (Antionette). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family, as well as her dear friends and neighbors.
