She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon L. Hiney and Ada M. Brewer Hiney; her stepfather James Tyzivani; and her brother Gordon L. Hiney, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lynn King; her sons, Eric Colton (Shea) of Waterloo, NY and Kenneth Colton of Waterloo, NY; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Autumn, Caitlyn and Conner. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice.
