He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Orlopp and Pearl Orlopp (DeForge); and his son David Robert Orlopp. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Orlopp (Alicia), Jennifer Spencer (Garrett), Joseph Orlopp (Alexis), Jacob Orlopp, Joshua Orlopp and Justin Orlopp; his grandchildren, Lucas Orlopp, Sophia, Natalia and Leon Spencer; and the mother of his children Nancy Orlopp.
