He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Carroll and Marjorie Fitzgerald Carroll; and his sister Roseanne Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barber Carroll; his children, Robert F. Carroll Jr. (Karen) of Sacramento, CA, Michael P. Carroll (Theresa) of Ballston Lake, Timothy M. Carroll (Patricia) of Ballston Lake, Richard E. Carroll (Michele) of Niskayuna, Joseph P. Carroll (late Tracy) of Clifton Park, Daniel C. Carroll and Thomas J. Carroll (Jill) of Troy; his brothers, Peter J. Carroll of Florida and E. James Carroll; and his pet Missy. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
