He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank MacConnell and Ruth Wilcox MacConnell; his wife Judy Woeller MacConnell; and his brother Raymond MacConnell. He is survived by: his sons, Michael MacConnell (Debora) of Great Mills, MD and Todd MacConnell (Lauren) of Warsaw; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Judith and Benjamin MacConnell.

“I saw the obituary in the paper this morning. I worked 11-7 at WCCH in Warsaw in the ER and as Night Supervisor until 2001 so I knew Doug well. As a fellow veteran and coworker we had many conversations over the years we both worked at the hospital. I extend my condolences to the family. Always sorry to see the passing of a friend.
