She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma "Valentine" and Walter Thedens; and her brother Larry Thedens (William Finney). She is survived by: her children, Teresa Scheemaker (Mark), Sue Burgess (Bobby), Mary Piper and Stephen Scott (Barb); her grandchildren, Matthew Scheemaker, Michael Scheemaker, Myah Scott and Taryn Scott; her great grandchild Bryson Scheemaker; and her stepchildren, Donna Gange, Rick Finney (Bubba) and Mark Finney. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation to the West Walworth Fire Department, or the Walworth Historical Society.
