He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cobane and Alfreda VanKleeck Cobane; and his siblings, Luther Cobane, Burnell Cobane, Isabell "Jean" Tompkins, Sandra White and Judith Hurlburt.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Beardslee Cobane of Walton; his children, David Cobane (Julie) of Delhi, John Cobane (Cindy) of Sidney, Timothy Cobane (Nancy) of Walton, Kelly Kole (Greg) of Trout Creek and Thomas Cobane (Shannon) of Franklin; his sister Marilyn Hurlburt of Truxton, NY; his grandchildren, Patrick, Russell, Adrianna, Ross, Ryan, Sara Morrison (Chris) of Syracuse, Stephanie and Rachel; and his great grandchild Tamra. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
