He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Rutherford and Corabelle Rutherford (Beadle); his siblings, Leo Rutherford, Charlotte Dean and Ruth Clum; his children, Glenda, Donald, Wendy and Sherry; and his grandchildren, Douglas and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Drumm of Cannonsville, N. Y.; his children, Leonard J. Rutherford Jr. (Margie), Stephen J. Rutherford (Maureen) of New Berlin, Debbie D. Davis (Craig) of Walton and Brian K. Rutherford (Debbie) of Walton; his grandchildren, Trina, Diana, Angela, Donald, Donna, Kevin, Alfie, Mike, Mindy, John, Brian, Emily, Glenda, Brent, Shannon, Jim, Tia, Joel, Brandi, Andy and Ashley; and his sister-in-law Myrna Drumm of Sidney Center. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
