He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ackerley and Marjorie Faulkner Ackerley; his siblings, Doug, Gary and Joyce Stuver; his grandson Jason Mclean; and his brother-in-law Dennis Brockway.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brockway; his daughters, Wendy Bailey (Jeff) of Davenport, NY, Kim Ackerley of Roxbury, NY and Michele Ackerley of Hobart, NY; his granddaughter Kayla Ballard; his stepgranddaughters, Erin Blumberg (Fred) and Sarah Scully (Derek); his sisters, Iris Wood of Johnstown, NY and Jackie Cotter (Kevin) of Johnstown, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Ackerley Williams and Mary Brockway. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
