He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Brown, Sr. and Mary Edith Allen Brown; and his siblings, Pansy Fleming, Geneva Miller, Calvin Brown, Dessie Burns, Willie Faye Lail, Lonnie Brown, Jr. and Lewis Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Norman Brown; his daughters, Laura Mount (Steve) of Morganton, Emily Howell (Dennis) of Morganton and Monica Miller (Daniel) of Morganton; his siblings, Walter Brown (Kay) of Morganton and Myrtie Cope of Morganton; his brother-in-law Bob Burns (Jewel) of Woodruff, SC; and his caregiver Brooke Malmsten. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
