It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Nicholas Valk Sr. of Walden, New York, born in Cornwall, New York, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaus Nicholas Valk and Gertrude McCord Valk; and his sister Carol Schimmel. He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Russell (Rick); his grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel; his daughter Cheryl Valk; his grandsons, Jeffrey and Tyler VanDemark; his great grandchild Ken Valk Jr. (Elissa); his brother Gilbert Valk (Diane); and also, Alex and Adelia. He is also survived by his loving wife of 56 years, and their three children.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Walden Baptist Church.
