She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Butler (Bradbury) and Walter Butler; her husband Phillip C. Cottiers; her grandchildren, Samantha Smith and Anthony Phillip Cottiers Devine; her sons-in-law, Stephen and Edward; and her siblings, Dorothy Manuge, Sadie Ells, Olive Sheppard and Clarence Butler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Schnitker (Carl) of Walden, NY, Michelle DeLillo (Roger) of Montgomery, NY and Paula Cottiers-Devine of Bloomingburg, NY; her grandchildren, Phillip R., Jeremy P., Jason M., Joshua J., Ashley D. and Nicholas P.; and her sister Phoebe Porter of Nova Scotia. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She also liked doing plastic canvas bookmarks that she would donate to seniors and churches.
