He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Henkiel; his mother Martha Henkiel; and his brother Viktor Gergel. He is survived by: his sister Rose Henkiel; his children, Jeff Henkiel (Tina) and Wendy Henkiel; his granddaughters, Chelsea Henkiel, Samantha Henkiel and Marissa Henkiel (Joe Dollinger); his great grandchild Kieran Westbrook; and his nieces and nephews, Victor Gergel Jr., Kathy, David Hayter, Annie Gergel, Steven, Cindy Gergel, Michael Gergel, Bob, Miriam Wood, Harry Wood and Paul Wood.
