He is survived by: his children, Larry Geertgens, Daniel Geertgens, Paul Geertgens (Sheri-Anne) and Catherine Aspling (Scott); and his grandchildren, Steven, Eric, Nicholas, Benjamin, Sarah, Kimberly, Lily, Hannah and Kevin. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
