He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Thomas and Cleora Thomas (Herman); his wife Ruth Anne (Woodburn); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret and David Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Thomas (Julee), Marcia Sanford (Mark) and Craig Thomas (Dianne); his grandchildren, Shana Thomas, Katie Thomas, Brian Thomas (Nicole), Brandon Sanford (Morgan Bowman), Josh Thomas (Kenzie), Megan Sanford, Danny Sanford and Derrick Sanford; his niece Pam Zukowski; and his nephew Cam Chapman.
