We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2022, Ida Lois Rose of Vestal, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her parents, Lewis Reeser and Bertha Reeser (Williamson). She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Patricia) and Linda; and her grandchildren, Emily and D. J.. She is also survived by cousins and other dear family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Vestal United Methodist Church, Feed the Children, or the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

“I had so many laughs with Lois at our ceramic classes at IBM and our many group luncheons. She had a great sense of humor, very dry at times. I'm so glad that I got to speak with her last July on her birthday. We hadn't seen each other for several years, due to my being in FL and COVID, yet it felt as if only weeks had gone by when we last connected. We always sent cards at Christmas and for birthdays. My condolences to her family. Rest in peace, my friend. Bonnie Walsh”
