He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Johnson and Albert H. Johnson; and his siblings, Robert Johnson, Helen Johnson and Martha Tarsia.

He is survived by: his wife Katina P. Johnson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.
