It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harley Schroeder of Vestal, New York, born in Akeley, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Schroeder and Mable Schroeder (Anderson); his brother Jack Schroeder; and his friend Richard Griswold. He is survived by: his cousin June Carlin (Fran); his children, Cindy Schroeder and David Schroeder; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Schroeder and Jason Schroeder; and also, Jackie Blakeslee, Faith, Jason, Daniel, Jennifer Schroeder, Ronan, Alexander, Evan and Ethan.
It was a tough year for him and all the residents because of the isolation caused by the Lockdown for safety reasons due to Covid-19.
