He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Mildred Smith (Harrington); and his brother Richard Smith. He is survived by: his wife Amy VanNess Smith; his children, Scott Smith, Shannon Albrecht (Kevin) and Jeremy Smith (Megan); his granddaughters, Alyssa and Clara; and his siblings, Paul Predmore and Eleanor Ellsworth (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
