He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Herrington and Georgia E. Herrington (Harvey); his brother George R. "Ozzie" Herrington; and his siblings-in-law, Iris VanBuren, Roberte "Bobbie" Herrington and Wayne Bulson.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Herrington (VanBuren) of Brunswick; his children, Jennifer S. Herrington of Oakland, CA and Brian H. Herrington of Brunswick; his granddaughter Samantha Herrington of Brunswick; his brothers, Kenneth Herrington of Brunswick and Philip of Brunswick; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Herrington of Brunswick, Jim V. VanBuren of Clarksville, Gloria Bulson of Pittstown and Lois Hamel of Brunswick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
