He was predeceased by: his parents, John James Cooney and Margery Malone Cooney; his siblings, Erin McEvilly (Ronald), John J., Robert J., Richard J. and Shaun R. Cooney; and his sister-in-law Eileen Sage Cooney.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Radliff (Michael Radliff); his grandsons, Aidan, Cameron Van Dyk and Keegan Radliff; his son Patrick Brunette (Emilee Brunette); his granddaughter Teagan Alivia Brunette; his siblings, Kristin Ayotte (Steve) of Troy, Kevin Cooney (Maureen) of Watervliet and Michael Cooney of Waterford; and his brother-in-law Ronald McEvilly of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
