It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Belle Cheeves (Syracuse, New York), born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Lottie Cross (Lewis) of Syracuse, Betty Cheeves (Emery) of Syracuse, Georgia Maddox (Winston) of Rochester, Lillie Cheeves of Syracuse, Robert L. Cheeves, Jr. of Syracuse and Alex J. Cheeves of Syracuse. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 45 great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
