He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Payne, Sr. and Leona C. Payne (Madden); and his brother Donald Payne. He is survived by: his wife Jean Payne (Schleier) of Liverpool; his children, Sharon (Ron Steen) of Buffalo, Gerald Payne (Laurie) of Liverpool, Kevin Payne of Monroe, NC and Linda (Julio Marcos) of Liverpool; his grandchildren, Zachary Fancher, Christopher Fancher, Corey Payne, Mary Katherine Payne, Megan Payne and Emily Payne; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Margaret Houghtaling, Linda Schleier and Julius Mix.
