She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Wilson, Sr. and Annie Bell Thompson; her sister Florence Elizabeth Lee; and her daughter Takesha Wilson-Henderson. She is survived by: her significant other LeRoy Goings; her son Keyon Thompson; her daughter-in-law Beatrice Thompson; her brother Moses Wilson; her granddaughter De'Asia Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Milo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
