With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew J. Kolis (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores; and his siblings, Edward, Frank, Joseph, Loretta Macarak, Sophie Baron, Carol Guidry and Mary Kolis.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Martinez (Manuel) of Lakeland, Michele Allen (Charles) of Denver, CO and Michael Kolis (Lisa) of Camillus; his grandchildren, Manuel, Christopher Martinez, Elizabeth Fiorito (Daniel), Ben Allen, Emily Allen Sandhaus and Jenna Gerth (Dave); and his sister Mildred Belotti of Dupont, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
