She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Smith and Madoline Jesse Smith; her husband Leo Young; and her brother Ralph Smith. She is survived by: her children, Robin Higgins (Eric) of Jamesville, NY, Stacy Hastings (Steven) of Columbia, SC and Jaime Young (Amy) of Kernersville, NC; her grandchildren, Garrett, Ryan Goettel, Patrick Hastings (Michelle), Christa Tevepaugh (Mark), Eric Hastings, Gracie and Maverick Young; her great grandchildren, Rylee Hastings and Noah Tevepaugh; and her sister Arlene Osmun. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Our mother, Lois Loraine (Smith) Young, 82, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at Loretto Health and Rehab in Syracuse, NY after a valiant, years long fight against Alzheimer's Disease, and more recently, complications due to COVID-19.
