He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Jr. Fay and Helen M. Fay (Gautreau); and his siblings, Gerald Gallant, Dosithe "Dusty" Fay and Jane Fay Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his daughters, Gwen Fay of Milford, NH and Gretchen; his son-in-law Jeffrey Davidson of Merrimack, NH; his son Joseph IV; his daughter-in-law Kathy Fay of Milford, NH; his daughters, Ellen Fay of Milford, NH and Megan Sanborn of Milford, NH; his grandchildren, Kyle, Nevaeh, Zac, Jack, Anna, Joseph V, James and Keira; and his brother Richard Gallant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He especially loved spending time with them at the annual NY state fair and spent Christmases visiting with them, but was unable to do either this year because of COVID.
