He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Whyland (Pendergast) and Clinton Whyland. He is survived by: his wife Marie Whyland (Zirilli); his sons, John Whyland (Shelly) of Lafayette, Michael Whyland (Fern) of Delmar and Christopher Whyland (Melissa) of Manlius; his grandchildren, Nicole, Hali, Emily, Fletcher, Casey and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Londyn and Rowan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
