He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his parents, David and Agnes; and his sister Karen Peters. He is survived by: his children, Karen Wrobel (Gary) of Syracuse, John Jr. (Kristen) of Syracuse and Eric (Corina) of Auburn; and his siblings, Lois Arena of Millis, MA and David II (Carol) of Syracuse. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
