Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Dawes (Syracuse, New York), born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 17, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Dawes and Rowena Baney Dawes Fasolt; his stepfather Earl Fasolt; and his parents-in-law, William and Sarah Mahaffey.
He is survived by: his wife Carol V. Dawes (Mahaffey); his children, Cynthia VanCoughnett (Robert) of Adams Center, NY, Yvonne Shaw (Patrick) of DeWitt, NY, Stephen Dawes (Suzanna) of Charlotte, NC and Rebecca MacCaull of Fayetteville, NY; and his siblings, Arthur Dawes (Connie) of Blossburg, PA, Paul Dawes (Chery) and Patricia Calderon (Tom). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
