He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina and Clifford; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Joan Olin (Scott); his children, Michael (Kathy), Cathleen Spencer (Timothy), Mark, David and Richard (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sheena, Brook, Eric, Amber, Richard Jr. and Scott; and his siblings, Duane and Freda. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
