It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerry M. Zavitz in Syracuse, New York, born in Albion, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ross Zavitz and Ruth Zavitz (Pilon); his close friend Carol Wilsey; his children, Lisa Gramlich of Brockport, John Zavitz of Syracuse, Sara Trapani (Rob) of Spencerport and Scott Zavitz (Kelly) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Nicole, Samantha, Benjamin Gramlich, Arden, Addison, Abel Zavitz, Sabrina Trapani and Graham Zavitz; his brother Charles Zavitz (Betty) of California; his friend Joan Zavitz of Brockport; and his goddaughter Becky Karls. He was also cherished by several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

New York state requires those in attendance to adhere to social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Orleans County Office for the Aging, 14016 Rt 31.
