He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer; and his parents, Charles Rood and Ruth Rood. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, James (Kate), Michael, Daniel Rood, Kathryn Kinnetz (Daniel), Amy Rood (Joseph Robichaud), Carrie Gotham (Brian) and Allison Rood; his grandchildren, Patrick, Finnegan Rood, Tye, Kyle Kinnetz, Harriet Gotham and Elizabeth Robichaud; and his brothers, David Rood (Jeanne) and W. Frederick Rood (Winifred). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
