He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo "Sam" Piraino and Francesca Lamacchia; his wife Merlyn; his daughter Kathleen; and his siblings, Martin Piraino, Sam Piraino, Sarah Bouchard (Piraino) and Flora Rockburn (Piraino).
He is survived by: his children, Frances Piraino Adams (Richard Adams) and Mark Piraino; his grandchildren, Rich Adams, Maria Maxon, Nichole MacMaster, Kimberly MacMaster, Geoffrey Doyle, Nickolas Piraino, Kameron Piraino and Dario Piraino; and his siblings, Carmella Widowski (Edward) and Anthony Piraino (Butch). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
