It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Gonzalez (Syracuse, New York), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Gonzalez and Maria Delgado-Gonzalez; his sisters, Amber Rose Gonzalez and Alyssa Marie Gonzalez; and his grandparents, Elvia Jara and Jorge Delgado.

“My sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to everyone in the family. Allan was one of my best students in the Wilson Guitar Ensemble I taught for when we used to play concerts in the Union City Schools. Allan was a very selfish-motivated student who you only had to show or teach him one time on the guitar and he grasped it as his own. In fact, if my memory serves me correct, when we were rehearsing "Hotel California," Allan, on his own memorized the solo. Rest In Peace--Mr. Amato.”
