He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Balestra and Jean Balestra (Compatella); his wife Ida Nicotra; and his son Robert Balestra. He is survived by: his children, Felix, Jean and Linda Balestra (Timothy Maroney). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
