He was predeceased by: his brother John McNamara; and his parents, Ruth McNamara and Edward McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Jamie and Joseph (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ryan, Ella, Landon, Gavin and Claire; his sister-in-law Brenda McNamara; his nephews, Shawn McNamara (Melissa) and Scott McNamara; and his cousin Dobbie Stanislaw (Teddy). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to American Legion- Kearsing and Edward's Post 1600, Pomona NY 10970.
