He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Mary Cecere Murphy; and his brother William Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Forhan Murphy; his sons, Michael T. Murphy (Nicole Stroller) of Clifton Park and Carl W. Murphy of Stillwater; his grandson Carl W. Murphy II; his sister Marie Ehlinger (Marc) of Schuylerville; his niece Jessica RavenStar (Corwin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maitreya and Alahna; and his nephew Lucas Ehlinger. He is also survived by his grandfather, 3 great grandchildren.
