It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Scarati of Stillwater, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Scarati and Carmella Palmer Scarati; and his wife Linda Oliver Scarati. He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Scarati, Jessica Aune (Shayne), Melissa Scarati, Sarah Kommer (Brandon), Jennifer Quackenbush and Johnalyn Peluso (Ralph); and his sister Barbara Valenti (Ralph). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, current services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember John in a special way are asked to make contributions to the VA Stratton Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 in his memory.
