He was predeceased by: his parents, David M. Mehan and Saretta Fordham Mehan; and his siblings, Francis Mehan and Mary Jo Miles. He is survived by: his wife Maureen O'Malley Mehan; his sons, David M. Mehan of Stillwater and Michael Mehan (Colleen) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Garrett, Molly, Ryan and Brennan Mehan; his siblings, John Mehan (Wanda) of Stillwater, Thomas Mehan (Paula) of Mechanicville and Martin Mehan (Maureen) of Stillwater; and his parents-in-law, Bill Miles, Mary McBride, Cheryl Mehan, Peter O'Malley (Susan) and Patricia O'Malley. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.

Due to pandemic precautions, a Drive-By calling hours has been set at son David's home on Sunday from Noon - 2 PM.
