He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Kanopka and Dorothy Kanopka (Chittenden); his wife Faye Kanopka; and his brother William Kanopka. He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Kanopka of Wynantskill and Morgan Kanopka of Averill Park; his stepchildren, Edward Maxon (Kim) of Berlin and Cheryl Maxon (Larry) of Berlin; his grandchildren, Gavin, Valerie, Phillip, Brittany, Desiree and Dustin; and his great grandchild Christian.
In lieu of traditional flowers, those who wish to remember Jack in a special way may consider a donation to the Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept., the Stephentown Volunteer Fire Dept., or to the Berlin American Legion Post 937.
