With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy J. Selby of Slingerlands, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Selby and Ethel Stewart Chirico; and his stepbrother John Chirico. He is survived by: his wife Mildred E. Selby; his sons, Patrick D. Selby (Samantha Marcone) and Robert J. Selby (Lauren); his sister Nancy A. VanWormer; his siblings-in-law, Frank VanWormer, Katherine Schneider and Theresa Chavez; his stepfather John Chirico; his nieces and nephews, Christopher VanWormer, Sean Chavez, Kimberly and Sara VanWormer; and his cousin Tim.

In accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, seating for the Mass in St. Matthew's will be limited. Facial masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, Tim's family asks that you consider a donation in his memory to Northern Rivers-Parsons Child & Family Center, Development Department, P.O. Box 8899, Albany, NY 12208 or to Family Promise of the Capital Region, 738 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.
