She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Nantista and Joan M. Nantista. She is survived by: her husband John E. Dowen; her son Andrew Dowen (Amanda); her grandchildren, Delia and Selwyn; her siblings, Mary Ann Chiera (Mike), Colleen Murphy (late Bud), Joanne Nantista, Ellen Nantista, Joe Nantista (Jeanne), Nita McLaughlin and Tony Nantista (Kim); and her brother-in-law Bob Dowen (Debbie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
