He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Smith (Patricia), Marian Quirk (John) and Peter Smith (Jen); his sibling Marion Armstrong; his grandchildren, Lee, David, Morgan, John, Ben, Sam, Katie, Grace and Jacob; and his great grandchild Lily Ann. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
