He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Eckstedt; his children, Stephen Preston (Bonnie) of Northville and Megan Vail (Peter) of Stillwater; his grandchildren, Michael and Katherine Vail; his sister Barbara Bradley; and his friends, Pauline Martin and Betsy Hoffman.
