He is survived by: his parents, Gerard R. Bushel, Jr. and Joan Ceccolini Bushel; his sisters, Diane Burchell (Peter) and Laurie Melagrano (Frank); and his nieces and nephews, Maximilian Burchell (Melissa), Caroline Mathew (Justin), Madeleine Burchell, Kayla Melagrano and Paige Melagrano. He is also survived by his family and friends.
