We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024, at the age of 86, Marsha Van Every of Sherman, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell A. Hornstrom and Dorothy Daley Hornstrom; her husband Gordon M. Van Every; her siblings, Kathryn Hornstrom Rickerson, Edith Hornstrom Curry and Wendell A. Hornstrom, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Levi Jacob Aldrich and Allie Mae Henton; and her son-in-law Carl Myers, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Duane Van Every (Tracy) of Salisbury, NC, Rhonda Maynard (Jim) of Ashville, NY, Sharyn Myers of Sherman, NY, Judy Card (Chris) of Sherman, NY, Wendy Aldrich (Tim) of Sherman, NY and Brenda DeKoning (Tom) of Sherman, NY; her sister Joan Hornstrom Johnson; and her niece Stacey Curry. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sherman First Baptist Church (113 Church St, Sherman, NY 14781). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
