She was predeceased by: her parents, Natalie Gunter and Linwood Gunter; her sibling Jesse Mealing; and her aunt Kathryn A. Mealing. She is survived by: her siblings, William Gunter (Rose), Gregory Gunter (Amy), Nathaniel Gunter, Kathryn Gunter, Virginia Planke, Amy Claire Gunter, Linwood Gunter, III (Rhett) and Veralynn Maddox; and her nieces and nephews, Annette, Marley, Samuel, Joseph, Jacob and Alexandria. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be to Hospice Care Network or the United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff in memory of Gretchen.
