He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Alesio and Gilda Nigro Alesio; his siblings, Carl Alesio, Sammy Alesio and Geraldine Mooney; and his godson Dr. Carl R. Alesio.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Margaret Alesio and Brendan Mooney; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Alesio, Christopher Alesio (Betsy), Craig Alesio, Dr. Timothy Mooney (Megan), Kathleen "Katie" Mooney and Kevin Mooney.
