With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard F. Serapilio (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony Serapilio and Beatrice Serapilio; his wife Shelley; his sons, Richard Serapilio (Maggie) and Kevin Serapilio (Kristina DiMatteo); his grandchildren, Madison, Gabriella and Amari; his nephews, Joseph and Anthony Serapilio; and his siblings, Joseph and Susan.

“To Dick's Family, My wife Darla and I met Dick and Shelly over fifteen years ago at the Port Royal Hotel in Wildwood Crest, NJ. We spent many afternoons visiting around the pool with the many regulars who vacation on the Jersey Shore the end of July and early August. Years ago Dick and I started golfing together at Cape May National Golf Course. I will remember fondly my days on the course with Dick as he was a great friend and someone I will deeply miss.
